What would it be like to step out of your house and fly anywhere you want to go?
That's always been a dream of man hasn't it? To take to the sky flying like a bird.
Now it may be a reality. A personal aircraft that requires minimal training and no pilot's license is about ready for production by the New Zealand based Martin Aircraft company.
Martin Aircraft set out to build a flying machine that would fall within U.S. aviation regulations for ultralights, defined as aircraft weighing 254 pounds or less, designed for one person, holding no more than five gallons of fuel and capable of moving at a top speed of 55 knots (63 miles per hour).

This is Cool. For just $100,000 I'm sure alot of people will buy them. I predict that within 10 years the price will drop significantly and the average person will be able to purchase one of these at the same price as a nice car or SUV.
